Deriving Multicultural Themes from Bibliotherapeutic Literature: A Neglected Resource

Analyzes the content of 24 fictional bibliotherapeutic children's books (12 German and 12 U.S.) for divorce themes. G. Allport's (1979) statistics were used to categorize the results. Results reveal that emic and etic themes were uncovered. (Author)
