The Relativity of Values and the Implications for Multicultural and Values Education
Evaluates main arguments for the relativity of moral values. Although anthropological evidence shows that values are relative to one's culture, this sense of relativity seems compatible with universal moral or ethical values. Presents arguments supporting a limited form of universalism, a core set of moral values, and explores its implications for multiculturalist themes and values education. (17 references) (MLH)
